SGS students, Regan Thomas and Josie McLaughlin, finished first and second in the WIAA Girls Class 1B/2B Cross-country race, with Thomas running 18 minutes, 20.3 seconds to win the individual title, and McLaughlin clocking in at 19 minutes, 16.8 seconds for second place at the Washington Cross Country State Championships at the Sun Willow Golf Course in Pasco, Washington.

The closest competitor was slower than Thomas by 1 minute, 18 seconds. Stellar job, Regan and Josie!
